Description

The Toscana Rosso il Pino di Biserno of the Tenuta di Biserno is born in vineyards that extend in the western part of the Alta Maremma, in Bibbona.

It is produced with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 21 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place partly in barriques, and partly in steel tanks. Subsequently the wine ages partly in barriques and partly in stainless steel tanks for 12 months, and for a further 12 months in bottle.

The Pine of Biserno is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with a complex and elegant bouquet, with aromas of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of tobacco and leather. On the palate it is pleasantly balanced, concentrated, decisive and elegant.

Perfect to accompany red and roasted meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
