Description

The Viognier La Balena was born in the vineyards in the Val di Cornia of the Petra company, near Suvereto.

This wine is made entirely from Viognier grapes, harvested and selected manually. After a brief maceration on the skins, the wine is placed in steel tanks where it carries out the evolutionary process for about six months. This is followed by bottling and aging in glass before being put on the market.

The Viognier La Balena shows a very bright straw yellow color. The nose offers elegant floral expressions, followed by citrus notes and delicate herbaceous hints in the background. In the mouth it denotes a good flavor which, combined with a lively freshness, accompanies a finish of good persistence.

It goes very well with fish and egg dishes, excellent with vegetables and fresh goat cheeses.
