Toscana IGT Maliano 2012 Le Torri
Description
The Maliano Tuscany of the Le Torri company comes from vineyards in the municipality of Barberino Val d'Elsa, in the province of Florence.
It is made from a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested separately by hand according to the different harvest period. Fermentation takes place in steel at controlled temperature for 20 days, with maceration in contact with the skins. The wine ages in French oak barrels and for at least 6 months in glass before reaching the market.
The Maliano from the Le Torri company is characterized by a beautiful intense ruby red. It opens to the nose with elegant and intense aromas of spices and red fruits. On the palate it is pleasant and balanced, with well-resolved tannins and a full and persistent finish.
Perfect in combination with steak and roasted meats, it marries wonderfully with game dishes and aged cheeses.
