Description
Poliziano's Rosato is a rosé wine made from Sangiovese grapes grown in vineyards located in the Lodola area, within the Montepulciano territory. Born from Poliziano's expertise as an interpreter of Tuscan Sangiovese, this rosé expresses an elegant and contemporary profile, maintaining a strong connection with its place of origin. It stands out for its fresh, delicate, and food-friendly style, characterized by impressive clarity of expression and drinkability.
The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates, with special attention paid to bunch selection. Vinification involves direct gentle pressing of the destemmed grapes, followed by fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve the aromatic purity and freshness of the fruit. The wine then matures in stainless steel for several months and completes its aging process with further refinement in the bottle.
In the glass, it shows a delicate pale pink color with luminous highlights. The nose offers refined and vibrant aromas of small red berries, pomegranate, fresh citrus, and subtle floral notes. On the palate it is fresh, balanced, and lively, with an enjoyable savory quality and an elegant finish that invites another sip.
Perfect when paired with light appetizers, raw fish, shellfish, Mediterranean cuisine, gourmet pizzas, and delicate first courses.
