Description

The Toscana Rosso Bordocampo of the La Rimessa company, owned by the coach Luciano Spalletti, was born in vineyards located on the hills of Montaione, in the province of Florence.

It is produced with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place separately for the two varieties, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of about 25 ° C for about 20 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 6 months in cement tanks and for another 3 months in bottle, before being marketed.

Bordocampo has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas of red berry fruit and currants, accompanied by spicy notes. On the palate it expresses a pleasant hint of fresh fruit, in harmony with a dense tannic texture and balanced acidity that accompany towards a long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with not too seasoned cheeses.
