Description

The Tuscan red wine Due by Tenuta di Carleone is born in vineyards located in Radda in Chianti, in the province of Siena. The Carleone estate was founded in 2012 by Karl Egger, who with the help of his friend Sean O'Callaghan produces wines following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture and low-interventionist oenology.

The wine is made of Sangiovese grapes with a small addition of Merlot. They are vinified in concrete tanks, with a maceration of 40-60 days. The refinement takes place for 18 months for 10% in tonneau, in steel and concrete tanks.

Ruby red in colour, it reveals aromas of juicy fresh fruit, enriched with floral and spicy notes. The sip is warm and full, with fine tannins and excellent persistence.

It pairs very well with grilled red meat.
