Description
The Toscana Rosso di Madonna Nera is born in vineyards located among the rolling hills of Montalcino, in the heart of Tuscany.
It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected by hand, once the right degree of ripeness has been reached. Fermentation takes place, with maceration for 25 days, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of maximum 28 ° C. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 14 months in first and second passage French oak tonneaux.
Toscana Rosso di Madonna Nera has an intense ruby red color tending to garnet. The nose opens with enveloping hints of ripe plum jam, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is balanced and structured, with soft tannins that accompany towards a long and persistent finish.
This wine is particularly suitable to accompany all meat based second courses.
