Description
What type of wine is it
Punta di Adine di Bertinga is a red wine made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown in Tuscany. It stands out for its structured and full-bodied style, with fermentation in steel and concrete vats. Maturation takes place in Austrian oak barrels, followed by a period in bottle, offering a profile suited to those seeking depth and character.
Where it comes from
This wine originates from the vineyards of Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, a territory rich in winemaking history.
How it is produced
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and concrete vats. The wine then matures for 18 months in Austrian oak barrels, followed by at least 12 months of bottle aging, ensuring harmony between aromas and structure.
Tasting notes
Punta di Adine reveals an intense ruby red color. The nose shows ripe blueberry, black olive, earthy, smoky and graphite notes, with hints of dried tobacco. On the palate it is powerful and structured, with fine, dusty tannins well integrated, a texture of dark fruits and spices (sensory interpretation of the present aromas), and a persistent finish with an elegant mineral touch.
Food pairing
The decisive structure and soft tannin make this wine ideal with truffle-based dishes and braised or stewed meats, enhancing the earthy and spicy notes while offering a balance between power and finesse.
When to serve
It is recommended to serve Punta di Adine in large glasses to enhance its aromatic profile. It maintains its tannic structure and freshness. Ideal for special occasions and contemplative tastings.
