Toscana IGT San Zanobi 2013 Pasolini dall'Onda

The Toscana Rosso San Zanobi di Pasolini dall'Onda was born in vineyards located in the historic Barberino di Val d'Elsa farm, in the heart of the extraordinary Chianti area.

It is produced 50% with Sangiovese grapes, 30% with Merlot grapes and 20% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested during the second decade of October. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for about 25/30 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 12 months, and for further 10 months in bottle.

It is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet, with elegant hints of red fruits that blend perfectly with that of wood. On the palate it is rich and pleasantly intense, with a delicately flavored body.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
