Description
The Toscana San Lorenzo of the Le Torri company originates in vineyards located in the municipality of Barberino Val d'Elsa, in the province of Florence.
This wine is made entirely from Sangiovese grapes, harvested exclusively by hand. The must ferments, with prolonged maceration in contact with the skins, at a controlled temperature of 27-28 ° C for 20 days. Subsequently the wine ages in French oak barriques and in the bottle for at least 6 months before being released on the market.
San Lorenzo from Le Torri is a ruby red wine. The nose perceives elegant spicy aromas, enriched with notes of berries, black cherry and black currant. In the mouth it is balanced and harmonious, with well integrated tannins and a pleasantly long and persistent finish.
To be uncorked with a steak, roasts or stewed meats, it goes well with game dishes and aged cheeses.
