Description

Per Sempre by Tua Rita is a 100% Syrah born in Alta Maremma, in the area of the metalliferous hills. The name expresses the predilection of Virgilio, Rita's husband, for Syrah. The company was born in 1984, when Rita and Virgilio bought 2 hectares of vineyards, which over the years have become 30.

Following the manual harvest, the grapes are vinified in steel vats at a controlled temperature. Ageing takes place in French oak barrels of first passage for 20–22 months, and then ends in the bottle for a few more months before entering the market.

Deep ruby red colour, the nose opens on ripe red fruit and with evident spicy notes of the grape. The sip is warm, enveloping and elegant, with a long finish.

Ideal in combination with stewed and roasted red meats, for example with Pepato dell'Impruneta.
