Description
The Trentodoc Cuvée Pietra is an Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine made using the traditional method, from the Marchesi Guerrieri Gonzaga line of Tenuta San Leonardo, produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. It comes from mountain vineyards located between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, in the hills of Pressano and the Val di Cembra, areas renowned for the production of elegant and very fresh wines.
The winemaking process includes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by eight months of aging, also in steel, during which frequent bâtonnage is performed. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle with a long aging on the lees of at least 36 months, a phase that gives the wine complexity and aromatic finesse.
In the glass, it shows a fine and persistent perlage. The nose expresses elegant notes of white flowers, citrus, bread crust, and a delicate minerality. On the palate, it is dry, tense, with a balanced structure and a pleasant sensation of freshness that accompanies the long finish.
Perfect to pair with fish dishes, shellfish, or sushi.
