Trento DOC Riserva 1673 Extra Brut Cesarini Sforza

The Trento Riserva 1673 Extra Brut of Cesarini Sforza originates from the high altitude vineyards of the Val di Cembra valley in Trentino. This sparkling wine pays homage to the birth of the Cesarini Sforza family, following the marriage between the Duchess Livia Teresa Cesarini and Federico Sforza of Santa Flora.

It is obtained from the best Chardonnay grapes, harvested manually in the first ten days of September. After a soft pressing of the grapes in special marble mixers, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by aging for 6 months on the fine lees. The base wine is sparkling by refermentation in the bottle, according to the Classic Method, with a stay on the lees for 48 months.

Cesarini Sforza Riserva 1673 is characterized by a bright golden yellow color and a minute and persistent perlage. Very fine on the nose, with notes of honey, ripe yellow fruit and dried fruit. In the mouth it proves fresh and intense, with an enviable flavor and minerality.

Suitable as a sparkling wine throughout the meal, it is perfect to accompany an aperitif.
