Description

What kind of wine is it

Trento Rosé Extra Brut by Maso Martis is a Classic Method sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir grapes grown with organic practices. It shows a fine and persistent perlage that enhances freshness and liveliness. The bouquet offers small red fruits and almond, while the palate is fresh and savory after aging on the lees in the bottle for at least 36 months. Vinification in steel and prolonged contact on the lees provide structure and complexity, while the drinking experience remains enjoyable.

Where does it come from

This sparkling wine is produced in Trentino, a region historically suited to Classic Method production and organic viticulture.

How is it made

Harvesting is done by hand in small crates to preserve the integrity of the grapes. After gentle pressing, the must is left in contact with the skins to extract the color and typical aromas of Pinot Noir. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature. In spring, the base wine is bottled with selected yeasts for secondary fermentation according to the Classic Method. Aging on the lees lasts at least 36 months, followed by Extra Brut dosage.

Tasting notes

To the eye, the wine displays a pale pink color with cherry reflections and fine mousse. On the nose, raspberry, wild strawberry and currant stand out with a delicate hint of almond. The sip is fresh and lively, the savoriness supports the profile and an elegant perlage caresses the palate. The finish is dry and persistent.

Food pairing

Trento Rosé Extra Brut by Maso Martis pairs well with seafood crudi, red prawn tartare, and swordfish carpaccio. It is ideal with spaghetti with clams, seafood risotto, and mixed fried seafood. Regionally, it accompanies Vicenza-style cod or octopus and potato salad. Its freshness also pairs nicely with fresh goat cheeses and grilled vegetable dishes.

When to serve it

This sparkling wine should be served chilled, in tulip-shaped glasses to enhance its bubbles and aromas. It is ready to enjoy immediately upon opening. Perfect as an aperitif, during summer lunches, or for festive occasions, thanks to its distinctive and versatile character.
