Umbria IGT Arquata 2010 Adanti
Description
Arquata is a red wine produced by the Adanti winery from vineyards located in the homonymous locality, in the Montefalco area.
It consists of a blend divided into 40% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Barbera. The grapes come from vineyards located at 230 meters above sea level on a clayey and calcareous soil. After a vinification in stainless steel followed by an aging in barrique and tonneaux for about 36 months.
The color stands on a ruby red hue. The bouquet is intense in its notes of berries, earth, spices and toasted notes. In the mouth it is balanced in tannic perception and freshness, supported by a body rich in structure and character.
Perfect to accompany an appetizer of croutons with livers and Umbrian paté.
