Description

Lungarotti's Umbria Cabernet Sauvignon was born in the Fattoria del Pometo, located in the Perugia area of Torgiano, in the heart of Umbria.

It is obtained from pure Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand in October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 15 days.

Brilliant purplish red in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon opens to the nose with an elegant scent of cassis and tobacco, typical of the grape variety. On the palate it has a fresh acidity with pleasant fruity evolutions, characterized by soft tannins and a harmonious and persistent aftertaste.

Ideal to accompany meat-based first courses, boiled or grilled meats, this red wine is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
