Umbria IGT Grechetto Strozzavolpe 2017 Bigi

The Grechetto dell'Umbria Strozzavolpe di Bigi rises from selected vineyards in the Orvieto district, on hills at 300 meters above sea level.

It is produced entirely from Grechetto grapes, which ferment in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. It follows refinement of 5 months in the same containers before the subsequent bottling.

It has a bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose offers a light and elegant perfume, in which aromas of exotic fruit and apricot can be perceived clearly. On the palate it is fresh and velvety, with a good balance, with a bitter base of peach kernel.

Suitable as an aperitif, it is suitable to accompany fish appetizers, white meats and fresh cheeses.
