Description
The Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut Rive di Campea by Bisol 1542 originates from the steep hills of Rive, where the Campea vineyard spans 7 contiguous hectares. This particularly well-suited terrain enjoys favorable exposure and a significant temperature range, factors that contribute to the wine's quality and expressiveness. The soils are rich in clay and sandstone, with veins of marl and limestone that lend the wine tension and mineral finesse.
The winemaking process involves manual harvesting in bins followed by gentle pressing. The Glera grapes undergo refermentation in autoclave according to the Martinotti method, to achieve a fine and persistent mousse. The residual sugar is typical of the Extra Brut style, and the effervescence is well-integrated thanks to a controlled refermentation with 30g of sugar.
On the nose, it presents an elegant bouquet of white flowers and citrus notes, complemented by fragrant tones of apple and peach, accompanied by a slight mineral touch. On the palate, it is direct, vibrant, and savory, dry but harmonious, with a dry finish that extends gracefully, maintaining clear elegance and persistent freshness.
Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs ideally with raw fish and light dishes based on vegetables or shellfish.
