Description
This Carmenere of Punta Nogal originates in the heart of the Central Valley, in Chile.
It is made with pure Carmenère grapes, which ferment in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Followed by aging for 6 months in French oak barriques for part of the mass, while the remaining part matures in steel where it preserves its fruity and freshness characteristics.
Wine with a bright and intense ruby red color, it releases hints of raspberry and plum on the nose, enriched with notes of vanilla, cinnamon and cloves due to the passage in wood. In the mouth it is slightly tannic and balanced, with a finish of beautiful persistence on fruity references.
Perfect to combine with stews and grilled red meats, it is ideal in the company of aged cheeses.
