Description

Gaucho Club Malbec by Vallisto is an Argentinian red wine produced in the province of Salta, in the Cafayate area in the north of the country. Made from 100% Malbec grapes, it expresses the character of a high-altitude region, where considerable temperature variation and well-draining soils contribute to an intense, ripe, and well-defined aromatic profile.

The grapes are vinified using a classic red winemaking method, aiming to preserve the fruit's freshness and the varietal expressiveness of Malbec. Ageing takes place without the use of wooden barriques, favouring a direct, vibrant, and terroir-driven style, which enhances the roundness on the palate and the grape's natural spicy notes.

In the glass it shows a ruby red colour with violet highlights. On the nose, it offers aromas of cherry, red fruits, and blueberry, accompanied by spicy nuances of tobacco and chocolate; on the palate, it is intense, round, and pleasant, with fine tannins, good persistence, and a harmonious finish.

It pairs well with grilled meats, roasts, pasta with ragù, braised red meats, game, and mature cheeses.
