Description

Syrah Estate Reserva is produced by the Chilean company Errazuriz, founded in 1870 in the Aconcagua Valley, on the northwestern side of the Andes, less than 30 km from the Pacific Ocean.

The grapes were harvested by hand early in the morning and transported to the cellar, where they were de-stemmed, crushed and fermented in steel tanks for 15-25 days. Subsequently the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

In the glass it is ruby in color with violet reflections. It is expressed on the nose with aromas of lavender, plum, blueberry, chocolate and vanilla. The sip is soft, with round tannins and good persistence.

It goes well with grilled roasted red meats.
