Historic winery in the Verona area, Tommasi represents one of the most important brands of Italian wine. For over a century, the family has dedicated itself to viticulture and starting from the original nucleus of Valpolicella, over time it has expanded the horizon of its activities also in other territories of our peninsula with several estates in Montalcino, in the Tuscan Maremma, in the Vùlture , in Oltrepò Pavese and in Apulia. The farm in the historic area of Valpolicella extends into a particularly prestigious area, with some high-level crus, such as La Groletta and Conca d'Oro.

The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Rafaèl is the maximum expression of the most representative wine of the territory. It is made with an assembly of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, which are fermented at a controlled temperature, with a maceration on the skins for a dozen days. Before bottling, the wine ages for 15 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.

Ruby red in colour, it gives fragrant aromas of cherry, small berries and black cherry. The sip is smooth, with a rich and ripe fruit and a fresh and savoury finish.

To be combined with pasta with meat sauce, white meats.
