Description

Valpolicella Superiore Ventale di Santi is located in the owned vineyards located in the Illasi valley, in the province of Verona.

It is obtained from a clear prevalence of Corvina grapes and with Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, harvested by hand in the second week of October. Fermentation takes place for 3 weeks in truncated conical oak vats, at a controlled temperature of 22-24 ° C. The wine ages in barrels almost entirely in oak and in others in chestnut and cherry, ending with a further 6 months of aging in bottle.

Intense ruby red with violet hues, Ventale di Santi proves to the nose a wine with a great aromatic fragrance, in which notes of ripe cherry, black currant and blackberry stand out, surrounded by light hints of green pepper. The taste is vibrant and juicy, with soft tannins and a pleasantly savory and persistent aftertaste.

Excellent with risotto, it goes well with stewed or barbecued meats.
