Valtellina Superiore DOCG Vigneto Fracia 2015 Nino Negri

The Fracia Vineyard sees the light in the vineyards of the Nino Negri winery in Lombardy.

It is produced with pure Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grapes, selected and harvested towards the end of October to favor the concentration of sugars in the grape. The vinification takes place at controlled temperature and lasts for about 8 days. After a passage in a steel tank, the wine is left to mature in small second passage French oak barrels for about 20 months, then refined in the bottle for another 6 months before being placed on the market.

The Fracia Vineyard has a garnet color. The nose comes intense, with a scent of withered flowers among which the violet and the rose bush stand out, to which are added sweet balsamic and spicy notes. In the mouth it is dry, warm and with good flavor, with an elegant and persistent finish with hints of plum.

Perfect to accompany roast meats, red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
