Description
What kind of wine is it?
Bianco Télos by Sant’Antonio is born from the union of Garganega and Chardonnay, expressing the territory of Verona. The winemaking takes place in stainless steel at low temperature, after gentle pressing in the absence of oxygen. The result is a fresh blend, elegant and persistent, with a clean, dry finish for immediate drinkability.
Where does it come from?
The grapes for Bianco Télos grow in the vineyards of Colognola ai Colli, in the province of Verona. This wine is a faithful expression of Venetian hillside viticulture, reflecting the uniqueness of its terroir. The identity of the bottle is founded on this very geographical location, combined with meticulous vineyard work that includes manual harvesting and bunch selection.
How is it produced?
Garganega and Chardonnay are hand harvested and undergo a gentle pressing in an oxygen-free environment. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at low temperature to preserve the fruit's integrity. The wine then undergoes a short period of aging in the same vessels before bottling, in order to maintain a technical profile that enhances its natural aromatic purity.
Tasting notes
In the glass, the wine displays a bright straw yellow color, a result of its stainless steel maturation. On the nose, it offers scents of medicinal herbs such as motherwort, mint, sage, and rosemary, along with slight citrus nuances. On the palate, it's fresh with a linear progression and finishes dry, marked by a pleasant hint of bitter almond.
Food pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, this white pairs well with seafood or vegetable appetizers and works wonders with aromatic preparations. Its best match is alongside herbed pasta dishes and fish recipes, as its persistence complements their flavors. It achieves a harmonious balance with Mediterranean cuisine and its vegetable ingredients, making it highly recommended with a herb risotto.
When to serve it
This wine easily accompanies social occasions and is an excellent choice from aperitif through to meals based on vegetables and fish. Its stainless steel vinification grants it an aromatic clarity that is inviting. It's well suited for a casual lunch or a light dinner, as its freshness and dry finish support a variety of courses.
