Venezia DOC Rosso 2020 De Stefani

The red wine of the De Stefani company is a classic Piave wine that comes from old vines that grow on clayey soils.

It is made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested at the end of September. The grapes are destemmed-crushed and then macerated and fermented at a controlled temperature, with frequent pumping over. After racking, the fino is aged in French oak barrels for 12 yeasts.

Intense ruby red color, the nose recalls aromas of small ripe red fruits. The sip is full-bodied, pleasantly tannic and with a good persistence.

It goes perfectly with pasta with meat sauce and grilled red meats.
