Venezia Giulia IGT Sauvignon Blanc 2015 Rosa Bosco

Rosa Bosco's Sauvignon Blanc was born in the splendid setting of the Friuli hills.

It is produced exclusively with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, one of the noblest vines in the world. After thinning out the bunches at the end of July, the grapes are harvested manually at the end of August, selecting only the best bunches. After cold maceration for a few hours, they undergo a soft pressing. The fermenting must is placed in French oak barrique and here it is aged for 11 months, with frequent bâtonnage.

This Sauvignon Blanc has a bright yellow color, with elegant golden reflections. The nose opens with an intense and seductive perfume, very rich, with notes of orange blossom and pleasant hints of pastry cream and vanilla. On the finish it has a delicate balsamic and pine resin shade. The taste is immediately creamy, rich and soft, with a good structure and a long finish with hints of vanilla and a light nuance of flowers and hazelnut.

Perfect to accompany risotto, this wine is ideal in combination with vegetable, fish and white meat dishes. Excellent also with aged cheeses.
