Description

The Sauvignon of Jermann is a white wine produced from 100% Sauvignon grapes, grown on soils originating from Eocene hills with marl and flysch sandstone, typical of the Venezia Giulia area. This wine is one of the historic labels of the Jermann winery, with a style that expresses elegance, aromatic intensity, and great balance.

The winemaking involves white fermentation with aging on the lees for about six months in stainless steel tanks, followed by an additional aging period in the bottle, to ensure the utmost freshness and aromatic integrity, preserving the qualities obtained in the vineyard and the winery.

In appearance, it shows a bright straw yellow color with light greenish reflections. The nose releases an intense and persistent bouquet, characterized by hints of elderflower, peach, and boxwood. On the palate, it stands out for its dry, full, elegant, and balanced flavor, offering a refined interpretation of Sauvignon in Friulian style.

It pairs perfectly with shellfish, seafood risottos, and sauced white fish, proving exceptional with lobster and crayfish in the simplest preparations.
