Venezia Giulia IGT Sauvignon 2013 Villa De Puppi

Venezia Giulia Sauvignon comes from the vineyards of the historic estate of the De Puppi family. Attention to the quality of the grapes and modern winemaking techniques give life to this excellent white wine.

Produced with Sauvignon grapes, kept in anaerobic condition until the beginning of fermentation, it keeps intact the aromatic heritage that distinguishes it. The fermentation phase continues inside thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. Characterized by a light yellow color, with soft green reflections, it has a complex olfactory bouquet, with intense herbaceous and vegetable scents, among which the aroma of tomato leaf stands out. It is harmonious on the palate, with a slight initial acid push and a long and lively closure.

Ideal as a wine to be served accompanied by vegetarian dishes, mainly based on asparagus or grilled vegetables, it is perfect to accompany delicate recipes based on fish and dishes based on soft cheeses such as goats.
