Venezia Giulia IGT Vitovska 2015 Kante

Edi Kante's Vitovska comes to life from the vineyards of the Carso Triestino, mostly composed of red earth and limestone, from which particularly fresh and mineral wines are produced.

Vitovska grapes are harvested by hand during the first half of September. The vinification takes place traditionally in white, without any contact with its skins. Once fermentation is complete, the wine ages for 12 months in second passage barriques and for a further 6 months in steel before bottling without filtration.

With an intense straw yellow color, it opens to the nose with clear sensations of green apple, accompanied by characteristic mineral and vanilla notes, released by the passage in wood. On the palate it is savory and fresh, immediate and drinkable.

Ideal with second courses of fish and white meats, it is perfect in combination with typical vegetarian dishes.
