Description
The Verdicchio Classico Superiore Campo delle Oche is produced by the Fattoria San Lorenzo winery in the Marche region, more precisely in Montecarotto in the province of Ancona.
It consists of 100% Verdicchio grapes, coming from vineyards located at an altitude of 380 meters above sea level defined by clayey and sandy soil. The harvest takes place manually, so as to allow a careful selection of the bunches in the vineyard. At the end of fermentation, the wine is refined for a total period of 36 months, of which 30 inside cement and steel in contact with its yeasts and the remaining 6 months in bottle.
At sight it is straw yellow. Its bouquet is marked by floral tones that are articulated in notes of chamomile, acacia flowers and white flowers, on a background of almond and saffron. In the mouth it reveals a mineral trace and a fresh vein that make this white body a wine of great drinkability. It closes in a characteristic almondy finish.
To be combined with a sea lasagna.
