Description
Vernaccia di San Gimignano VIII Rima was born on the rolling Tuscan hills between San Gimignano and Florence.
It is produced exclusively with Vernaccia di San Gimignano grapes, a white grape variety typical of the area, harvested by hand between the end of August and September.
VIII Rima is a straw yellow wine with elegant shiny and bright reflections. The nose is elegant and has hints of broom flowers, with fruity notes of banana and pineapple. In the mouth it is fresh, fruity and persistent, with a hint of almond and jasmine. Overall it is a wine with good acidity and a long lasting finish.
Perfect as an aperitif, it is ideal in combination with delicate first courses and second courses based on fish. Also excellent to accompany fried fish and vegetables, eggs and white meats.
