Description
La Grola by Allegrini is an elegant interpretation of the Valpolicella territory, mainly made from Corvina and Oseleta grapes grown in volcanic soils.
The winemaking occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 20 and 28°C for about 15 days, preserving the aromatic integrity and varietal expression of the grapes. The wine ages for 16 months in second-use French oak barriques, followed by an additional 10 months of bottle aging. This long maturation contributes to developing depth and complexity, making it a refined wine capable of long-term evolution.
It presents a compact ruby red color. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of red currant and plum, enriched by elegant notes of vanilla, black pepper, and coffee. On the palate, it is harmonious and balanced, with fine tannins and a structure that expresses great refinement and evolutionary potential.
It pairs perfectly with dishes based on red meat and roasts, lamb, kid, stewed or grilled mushrooms, and aged non-spicy cheeses.
