Description

Bertani di Verona Rosso S Bertani is born in vineyards located on the hills of Valpantena, north of Verona.

It is produced with Rondinella and Corvina Veronese grapes, harvested manually around the first week of October. After destemming and crushing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature of 20 ° C. The wine undergoes a second slow fermentation on the marinated Amarone and Recioto pomace, acquiring a greater structure and hints of red fruits. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for about 18 months.

Secco Bertani is characterized by an intense slightly purple red color. The nose opens with aromas of ripe cherries, enriched by the typical hints of Valpatena: black cherry, black currant, dried fruit and pepper. On the palate it presents an incredible balance of soft tannins, which bring body and give a savory and long aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with roasts.
