Description
This Chardonnay Le Noyer from Pierre Girardin comes from a small clos of a few hectares located at 470 m above sea level in the village of Rotalier, from vines over 60 years old grown on limestone-clay soils.
Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts and continues in oak barrels (about 50% new); the wine is neither clarified nor filtered, in order to preserve its purity and integrity.
It stands out for its crisp, mineral aromatic profile, with toasted, buttery, and nutty notes, alongside richness and structure; on the palate, it is dry, savory, and profound, with elegant acidity and a persistent finish.
Enjoy with baked fish or white meats in a light sauce.
