Description

This Chardonnay from the Les Plants Nobles line by Ropiteau Frères is produced in the south of France, where the Mediterranean climate and clay-limestone soils favor the full expression of the grape variety. It is a harmonious wine that pays tribute to the great noble French grape varieties and embodies the elegant style of Maison Ropiteau.

The vinification process involves destemming, brief maceration in contact with the skins, pressing, and fermentation at low temperature, partly in oak barrels. A portion of the malolactic fermentation is interrupted to maintain freshness. The final blend includes wines vinified using different methods, one-third of which is aged in oak barrels toasted by fire, contributing to the aromatic complexity and providing a sweet sensation on the palate.

The color is pale golden yellow with green reflections, bright and clear. The nose reveals complex aromas of citrus, exotic fruits, and toasted nuts. The palate unveils a rich yet fresh wine, soft and persistent, with a delicate fruity touch that makes it extremely pleasant.

It pairs perfectly with mixed salads, fish, or can be enjoyed alone as an aperitif.
