Description

QSS Rare Blanco is a Portuguese white wine produced in the Vinho Verde denomination, in the northwest of Portugal, about 40 km from the coast. The vineyards are located at high altitudes and benefit from an Atlantic climate that promotes freshness and lively aromatics. The fertile, granitic soils contribute minerality and elegance to the wine. It is made from a blend of traditional regional varieties, including Arinto, Loureiro, and Trajadura, which together express the typical character of Vinho Verde white wines.

Vinification involves gentle pressing of the grapes, followed by must clarification and fermentation at a controlled temperature of about 12°C in stainless steel tanks. This process helps preserve the grapes' primary aromas and maintain the natural freshness and vibrancy typical of the region's wines.

In the glass, it appears bright, pale yellow. On the nose, it offers an expressive bouquet with mineral and fruity notes reminiscent of citrus and fresh fruit. On the palate, it is light and refreshing, with a balanced structure and a smooth finish that enhances its pleasant drinkability.

It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, seafood, and Asian cuisine.
