Primovolo 2012 Primo Volo
Description
Primovolo was born from the collaboration between the Venetian company La Montecchia, the Tuscan company Rocca delle Macie and the Piedmontese company Villa Giada. This wine represents the union and expression of three different territorial cultures.
In fact, it is produced in equal percentage from Merlot, Barbera and Sangiovese grapes, vinified and left to evolve separately within the respective companies, to be subsequently assembled during the bottling phase. Thanks to this original procedure, each variety gives the final product its organoleptic and territorial characteristics.
Primovolo shows an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, well accompanied by spicy notes. In the mouth it is round and soft, with firm but not intrusive tannins that give persistence and aroma to the aftertaste.
It goes perfectly with red meats. It is also ideal in combination with braised and roasted.
