Description

The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano of the Luteraia company comes from vineyards located in Acquaviva di Montepulciano, in the heart of the DOCG of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

It is produced with Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Mammolo and Malvasia Bianca Aromatica grapes, harvested late by hand. Vinification takes place traditionally in red, followed by aging for 12 months in fine oak tonneaux. Subsequently the wine ages for another 2 years in the bottle before being placed on the market.

It has a ruby red color tending to garnet. The nose opens with an intense and persistent bouquet of berries, violet and plum jam, enriched with notes of musk, spices and vanilla. On the palate it is dry and elegant, rightly tannic and pleasantly persistent.

Perfect to serve with structured first courses and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with roasts and game.
