Vino Spumante di Qualità Metodo Cavazzani Lungo Cuvée Brut Kálibro 2013 Astoria

The Kálibro Quality Sparkling Wine Cavazzani Method Cuvée Brut from Astoria comes from the vineyards of the Val del Brun estate, in the Treviso municipality of Refrontolo.

It is mainly obtained from Chardonnay grapes and partly from Pinot noir grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. After the classic vinification processes, the second fermentation takes place according to the Cavazzani Lungo method in an autoclave, at low temperatures, for about 45-50 days. Subsequently, the wine ages for 12 months on its lees and in the bottle for a further 12 months, before being placed on the market.

The Kálibro sparkling wine from Astoria is characterized by a golden yellow color, and by a minute and persistent perlage. opens to the nose with fine and elegant aromas, enriched with pleasant hints of roasted peanuts, vanilla and acacia honey. On the palate it is savory and dry with a strong fruity finish.

Perfect to accompany delicious appetizers and dishes based on fish and shellfish, this sparkling wine is ideal in combination with white meats.
