Western Cape WO Chardonnay 2017 Savanha

The Savana line Chardonnay, an expression of the South African radiance signed by the Spier company, originates in the famous wine-growing area of Stellenbosch, in South Africa.

The harvest of Chardonnay grapes is carried out with extreme care, in order to allow a selection of the bunches to be transported to the cellar. These are de-stemmed, slightly pressed and sent to alcoholic fermentation thanks to the selected yeasts. Once finished, the wine remains in steel tanks to continue with a refinement of two months on its fine lees.

At sight it is presented in a straw yellow hue, very clear. The nose opens with notes of tropical fruit and citrus. In the mouth it shows a savory, fresh and fruity character. It closes in a long-lasting citrus memory.

To be combined with a lemon chicken escalope.
