Western Cape WO Shiraz 2016 Savanha

Savanha Shiraz is a wine from the South African Savanha line, signed by the Spier company.

The grapes of the Shiraz variety are harvested at their optimal moment of ripeness. Selected and harvested, they are transported to the cellar where they are immediately de-stemmed and pressed. A period of maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks follows. Refine for 6 months inside them and then be bottled.

It appears, at sight, in a ruby red color. The olfactory profile is outlined in shades of blackberries, spices, violets and pomegranate. The taste follows the imprint of the perfume and is completed with a round body and a long spicy finish.

To be combined with stewed lamb.
