The cuvée de prestige , in the world of Champagne , is the label that represents the maximum expression of each Maison , which can be vintage or less and which is often offered in the classic and rosé version. Some of these labels, even though they were born as a manufacturer's cuvée de prestige , have then become a real separate brand: the most emblematic case is that of " Dom Pérignon ".

Launched in 1936 with the 1921 vintage by Moët & Chandon, "Dom Pérignon" was the first cuvée de prestige in history. Until then, the Champagne houses had produced cuvées of various quality, but the concept of a top-of-the-range label was an absolute novelty, even though Louis Roederer had produced since 1876 the " Cristal " cuvée intended exclusively for private consumption by the Tsar. of Russia. "Cristal" later became available to the general public with the 1945 vintage, followed by Taittinger's " Les Comtes de Champagne " with the 1952 vintage. In 1960 " La Belle Époque " by Perrier Jouët and " Grand Siècle " by Laurent- were marketed Perrier, who instead of proposing a vintage had created a cuvée of the last best vintages (it was 1952, 1953 and 1955), according to the concept dear to its creator, Bernard de Nonancourt, of "assembling the best with the best to get the best ".

The Belle Epoque of Perrier-Jouet , a sparkling wine that comes from the prestigious vineyards of Avize and Cramant, in the Cote de Blancs, which is striking both from an aesthetic and qualitative point of view; contained within the bottle with the characteristic flower decoration, it has a supreme elegance and a floral bouquet which is a prelude to all its complexity.

The large Grand Siècle and Alexandra cuvées by Laurent-Perrier : the first is a perfect mix of refinement, balance and quality, produced from grapes from the most prestigious crus in the region, according to the principle of "blending the best with the best to get the best "; Champagne Alexandra Rosé is instead a prestigious wine from a rigorous selection of the best Grand Cru of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, created by Bernard Lanson de Nanacourt on the occasion of the marriage of his eldest daughter, in 1987.

Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Wiston Churchill, obtained from a secret family recipe in which there is still a clear predominance of the Pinot Noir variety which fascinates for its structure, its breadth and robustness, completed by Chardonnay which adds elegance, finesse and delicacy.
