Fernand Lemaire
The history of the Maison began in 1903 when Fernand and his family began to cultivate a few vine saplings in the immediate vicinity of the family winery. The Maison is located in Hautvillers, the site of the ancient abbey where Champagne, thanks to the Grand Cellérier Dom Pérignon, is said to have originated.
Today, the family has 7 hectares of vineyards dedicated to the 3 classic grape varieties of the region: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. The Premier Cru range consists of a Brut, a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier with a light gold colour and a refined effervescence, and a Rosé, a blend of 95% Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, a refreshing cuvée that seduces with its aromas of citrus and red fruits. Completing the selection is the Blanc de Blancs, a pure Chardonnay with a very pleasant, fleshy, full and aromatic body.
