Lambrusco

Lambrusco is perhaps the most manifest emblem of what a wine can characterize a territory: energetic, sparkling, lively and convivial, it fully embodies the spirit and essence of its production land, Emilia Romagna. Lambrusco is an indigenous wine , deeply linked to its land, whose grapes come entirely from the territory, a source of pride among producers. Its history is lost in the mists of time and dates back to the times of the ancient Romans, when the wild vine was called Lambrusca. .

A wine with a pleasant and sweet appearance, its grapes are mainly grown in the territories between Modena and Reggio Emilia and, in smaller quantities, in the provinces of Mantua and Parma, between Emilia and Lombardy. Its peculiarity, what makes it truly unique is that of being a sparkling and red wine: it goes well with summer evenings, cold cuts with friends and, among the most daring combinations, popcorn, as a his great admirer, Luciano Ligabue, in a piece that reminds us of the extreme versatility of this wine. Lambrusco is today a modern wine with an ancient tradition, a pop wine, as one might say: with its freshness and drinkability, practically everyone likes it.
