Description
Edi Kante's Malvasia comes from vineyards of the Carso Triestino, a territory characterized by a strong presence of red earth and limestone, from which descend wines of excellent quality.
Malvasia grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of September. Fermentation takes place in steel without any maceration, after which the wine ages for 12 months in second passage barriques and for a further 6 months in steel before being bottled unfiltered.
It appears golden yellow in color. The scent is centered on fruity hints of white peach and almond, which are enriched at the end with slight spicy notes. The taste proves decisive and sapid, characterized by a pleasant persistence.
Perfect aperitif, it goes well with pizza and first and second courses based on fish and shellfish.
