Description
Cirelli's Pecorino Anfora is a white wine made from Pecorino grapes grown on clay and limestone soils, managed following biodynamic practices. It is born in Abruzzo from viticulture attentive to the natural balance of the vineyard and aimed at expressing authenticity and territorial character.
The grapes are destemmed and undergo maceration on the skins inside buried amphorae, followed by gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation. The wine ages in amphora for a long period, during which it benefits from slow and constant micro-oxygenation that promotes harmonization and the evolution of its aromas.
On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with a balanced structure sustained by a natural freshness. The aromatic profile is complex and layered, with fruity and floral sensations that merge with deeper, more tactile notes, while the finish is long and harmonious.
It pairs elegantly with structured fish dishes, white meats, medium-aged cheeses, and Mediterranean cuisine.
