Description

Paternoster's Aglianico del Vulture Bariliott comes from vineyards in the Vulture area. It takes its name from the village of Vulture, "Bariliott" or "di Barile", from which the Paternoster family comes.

It is produced solely with Aglianico grapes, which after destemming are traditionally fermented in red, with maceration on the skins for 12-15 days at a controlled temperature. After the malolactic fermentation in steel, 50% of the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months, followed by 6 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

Paternoster's Aglianico del Vulture Bariliott has a brilliant ruby red colour. The nose opens with intense fruity notes of cherry and plum. In the mouth it is fresh and juicy, with firm tannins.

Perfect to accompany cured meats, baked pasta with meat sauce, grilled meats and semi-aged cheeses.
