Aglianico del Vulture DOC Synthesi 2016 Paternoster

Aglianico del Vulture par excellence, the Synthesi of the Paternoster winery is an example for the structure and longevity of the wines from the territories of volcanic origin.

Harvest of only Aglianico around mid-October, is the result of a traditional red vinification with maceration on the skins for 10 days. It ages in Slavonian oak barrels and for a small part in French oak barrels. After assembly, it is further refined for 7-8 months in the bottle.

It shines in the glass of a bright ruby red color. The scent is intense and ethereal, with deep and well-carved hints of blueberry, blackberry and pepper, on an undergrowth background. The taste is harmonious and dry, gradually more velvety with the passage of time.

Recommended in combination with meat dishes, divinely stock both game and aged cheeses.
