Aldobrandesca Birra al Frumento Birra Amiata

The Aldobrandesca beer of Birra Amiata takes its cue from a medieval recipe in which multiple types of cereals were used, aiming to find the perfect gustatory harmony between them. The modern reference model is the Belgian Blanche beer, especially for the use of wheat.

Aldobrandesca has a very pale straw color, accompanied by a well-structured and persistent foam. Its maximum expression this beer offers to the nose, with an aroma of fruit, green banana and pineapple above all, which later leaves room for more exotic and citrus notes, in which the orange peel prevails. In the mouth cereals have more field, with a finish characterized by intense sensations of cardamom and coriander.

This beer goes well with soups and first courses. It is also an excellent companion with white meats, especially rabbit and chicken.
